As an Operations Bridge Management Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in IT monitoring and event management to design and implement cutting-edge solutions using OpenText Operations Bridge Management (OBM). Your contributions will directly enhance our clients' operational efficiencies and drive business transformation.

 

What you need to succeed

 

- Experience: 1-2 years in IT operations or related fields, with a solid background in IT monitoring, event management, or observability platforms.

- Skills: Proficiency in IT infrastructure components, basic networking concepts, and ITIL processes, especially incident and problem management.

- Technological Acumen: Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.

- Personal Attributes: Strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset essential for team success.

- Clearance: DV clearance or commitment to undergo the clearance process.

- Learn and Grow: Engage in a structured training program to gain comprehensive knowledge of OpenText Operations Bridge Management, its components, and implementation best practices.

- Assist in Implementation: Collaborate with seasoned consultants to design, configure, and deploy OBM solutions, gaining practical experience in real-world scenarios.

- Monitor and Analyse: Configure monitoring for diverse IT environments, interpret alerts, and utilize OBM's event correlation capabilities to identify and resolve issues.

- Collaborate and Contribute: Actively participate in team discussions, share insights from previous platform experience, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our OBM processes.

- Develop Expertise: Proactively seek opportunities to expand your knowledge of OBM, ITIL processes, and related technologies to become a self-sufficient consultant.

- Evaluate Client Environments: Assess current monitoring and management capabilities to recommend and implement tailored OBM solutions.

- Design and Implement Solutions: Create OBM configurations that align with industry best practices and meet client-specific requirements.

- Integration: Integrate OBM seamlessly with existing IT service management (ITSM) and configuration management system (CMS) tools to provide a unified view of IT operations.

- Process Optimisation: Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure ongoing effectiveness and efficiency of OBM solutions, leveraging your expertise in ITIL processes.

- Client Support: Provide expert guidance and support throughout the entire OBM lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction and success, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.

- Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in OBM and related technologies through ongoing training and certification opportunities, fostering personal and professional growth.
