We are looking for a Technical Consultant - Healthcare Informatics to join Philips Healthcare, to ensure the delivery of Healthcare IT solutions to customers continues to be world class. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity within Philips Healthcare, which will have a strong focus on Radiology.
In this role, you have the opportunity to focus on delivering excellent services in both implementation and support to customer and being there for customers when they need us most. The Technical Consultant is a key member of the implementation project and/or service team fostering collaboration through sharing experiences, information, perspectives, skills, and expertise · You will drive continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on customer feedback there by ensuring high customer satisfaction. Activities include Scoping, designing, building, deploying and/or integrating solutions, analyzing the unique business, technical and clinical customer requirements to design, build and/or integrate the most appropriate solution, resolution of incidents, problems and services requests raised by customers (internal or external). The role provides a conduit between its area of expertise and the cross functional teams; comprising Philips EDI as represented by the Solutions Team, Project Office, EDI Sales and Management. Represents Philips professionally in both customer and internal team situations
Key Responsibilities
Scoping, designing, building, deploying and/or integrating Radiology solutionsFulfilling software implementation deliverables such as detailed design documentation, system build, configuration and testingAnalyzes the unique business, technical and clinical customer requirements to design, build and/or integrate the most appropriate solution · Based on customer requirements, serves as a consultant to provide technical recommendations that best suit the environmentDocumentation of solutions to ensure support teams and other consultants can participate in support and onward developmentPractices strong configuration management and version control · Execute activities as described in the Philips Excellence Process FrameworkManage and maintain effective communication with customers in relation to logged service requests and project deployment.Mentors and trains customers to maintain their systems · Is a customer advocate and leverages insights to drive product decisions.Participate and contribute in cross functional team as an active team member. Contributes to the collective learning of Philips, seeking to share knowledge globally; assesses and shares repeatable processes that can be leveraged across multiple projects ·Manage effective communication with internal and external cross functional teams.Effectively utilize service and project management tools for the logging, triage and classification of cases and time worked against a project in line with published work instructions, leading to resolution – remotely or onsite.Meeting project milestones and timelines for tasks / activities that has been assigned.Negotiating and prioritizing, timelines, case load with various internal stakeholders and/or the support teams.Participate project deployment and associated activities which may require working beyond business hours.Work with the technical support team to optimize existing install bases with learnings from deploymentsThis will be a hybrid roleWe are looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or related 4 year coursesMinimum of 5 years’ experience in Networking, Software Solutions, Healthcare Informatics and/or Healthcare ITHands-on experience supporting customers preferredFamiliarity with Oracle database, VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server application and network technologies.Familiarity with servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting medical devices.Awareness of or Familiarity with healthcare date exchange protocols like including DICOM, HL7 etc. preferred but not requiredProven proactive, self-starter with ability to assess complicated scenarios, determine action required, and engage appropriately to resolutionProven ability to solve problems systematically and effectively, ensures high customer satisfactionSelf-driven, independent, humble and team spiritedExhibits leadership through personal responsibility, accountability, and teamwork.Able to write client-side scripts like PowerShell, batch etc. preferredHas working knowledge of at least one programming language preferredHas working knowledge of XML and XSLT preferredCCNA preferred but not requiredOur Offer
