Join Cisco as a TAC Security Engineer in our senior EMEA team, part of the Customer Experience Centers (CXC). You'll become a trusted authority for global customers, engaging with ground breaking networking security technologies. Collaborating in a global shift approach, you'll troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, chipping in to Cisco's high standards of customer satisfaction. This role offers exciting opportunities for professional growth and innovation through teamwork.
Your Impact:Resolve sophisticated technical issues through collaboration with customers and cross-technology teams.Contribute to knowledge bases, troubleshooting guides, and train junior engineers.Recreate customer issues in Cisco labs and assist with escalations.Develop intellectual capital, including documentation and training.Mentor others while configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Cisco products.Innovate in problem-solving and provide guidance to engineers.Partner with serviceability teams to review specifications and submit bug reports.Minimum qualifications:4+ years of related experience involving customer support element in Security technologies.CCNP level knowledge or equivalent (Cert not required).Demonstrable understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP stack, Routing/Switching, SSL/TLS, common Application Layer protocols.Capture analysis (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.).Proven experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco or similar security products.Preferred qualifications:Advanced Linux, & Windows skills.Knowledge in cloud providers: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps.Scripting languages (Python, Golang, etc.).#WeAreCisco
