Design and develop technical product content with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and user experience. Drive a cohesive end-to-end content experience that moves clients through their product journey. What You’ll Do * Design, develop, and publish IBM technical content that is easy to use, easy to understand, and easy to find. Produce content in many forms: content embedded in the UI (UX writing), product tours, messages, product documentation, API documentation, multimedia (for example, videos, graphics), AI chatbots, training, and community content. * Simplify technically complex concepts and details from multiple sources into consumable content that drives user actions. Deliver clear, inclusive, accessible, and translated content for a global audience. * Work closely with Product Management, Design, Development, Marketing, Support, Sales, Training and leverage these relationships to deliver the best documentation user experience. * Own the end-to-end authoring process: design, development, editing, production, translation, life cycle management of your documentation areas. * Define documentation plans, audience and purpose, project schedules, and priorities. Manage projects with worldwide teams. * Lead a team of Content writers and collaborate with worldwide stakeholders Who You Are * You have excellent writing skills with strong research skills. * You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. * You work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to teamwork. * You have a ‘we succeed as a team’ attitude. * You are agile with dynamic schedules and priorities. * You like to solve challenging problems and think of new ways to deliver better content to our clients * You have a keen interest in AI and how Content can leverage AI. * You have a passion for good writing and improving your writing skills * You are committed to mentoring and nurturing your team’s technical and soft skills. **Required technical and professional expertise** * 10+ years of experience creating technical documentation for enterprise software * Markup languages expert (such as DITA XML, Markdown, HTML) and authoring tools (Oxygen) * Proficient at creating topic-based information that meets audience requirements * Extensive knowledge of agile and continuous delivery development environment * Proven ability to analyze and derive insights from quantitative and qualitative user feedback. * Proven leadership in content projects in all phases of the software development cycle * Proven experience leading a team of writers and mentoring junior team members **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with Git or GitHub * Usability/user testing and IBM Design Thinking practices * Documenting APIs and SDKs * Knowledge, interest, and ability to learn how to infuse AI into our content operations * Experience writing for globalization and accessibility * Experience working in an agile, squad-based, continuous delivery development model * Programming in any of the following languages: Java, Ruby, PHP, Python, Swift, Go, ObjectiveC, Node
