You have an opportunity to personally thrive, make a difference and be part of a culture where individuality is noticed and valued every day. **Technical Content Writer Job Description** **General duties and responsibilities** + Participate in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of online information resources. + Develops clear and concise documentation for work instructions, job aids, reference materials, and user guides. + Maintain current knowledge of industry standards in designing support information and resource methodology. + Use needs assessment tools to determine effectiveness of training programs. + Interact with functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses and support documents. + Evaluates need and develops new reference material and/or revises current materials to ensure business unit or group training needs are met. + Manage workflow processes and communications effectively with client. + Conducts follow up to determine applicability of material. + Establish and maintain project documentation libraries in SharePoint including the use of version control. + Client facing position and travel within the state maybe required. **Education/Typical years of Experience/Skills** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the training field, training and curriculum design, and/ or technical writing. **Preferred Qualifications** + Participate in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of online information resources. + Maintain current knowledge of industry standards in designing support information and resource methodology. + Must have excellent organizational skills. + Must be proficient in the use of various software applications related to integrating technology into instruction, including Microsoft Office Suite and multimedia development tools. + Indiana Eligibility program and policy experience or equivalent program and policy knowledge.
