Technical Course Developer

The global training team plays an integral part in customer success by imparting product knowledge and guiding class participants in becoming competent using and configuring the software to support their business needs. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic course developer to enrich our global training organization.


Key Responsibilities

Develop high quality courseware to support Aras Innovator and Aras DevOps training programs Work with trainers and software engineering to improve, enhance, and update existing courses Produce materials for a variety of delivery modes such as instructor-led training, self-paced training, virtual, and blended learning platforms Assist with evaluating customer training requirements and creating supplemental courseware to support custom training Contribute to building a training roadmap with clearly scoped courses that have well defined learning paths Assist with developing a certification plan for training class participants by establishing learning and performance metrics and measurements Determine a plan for evaluating the effectiveness of training materials and making appropriate adjustments


Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technical Writing, Journalism, Communications, or other technical disciplines (or equivalent experience) Must have 3+ years of experience developing technical course materials and/or documentation (PLM software experience a plus) Motivated by a fast paced, team environment Proficiency with simplifying complex terms and refining to support multiple audiences Advanced proficiency with English language, grammar, and vocabulary Highly developed aptitude expressing ideas clearly and smoothly in written documents Ability to use and create templates and apply styles in Microsoft Office Products Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics Familiarity with Graphic Design principles Experience creating video tutorials and presentations Experience integrating eLearning with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
