The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive technical training courses that enable users and stakeholders to effectively utilize the new mission system. This role requires strong instructional design skills, technical expertise, and the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences. **Your future duties and responsibilities:** Your future duties and responsibilities: Course Design and Development: Design and develop technical training courses, including instructor-led training (ILT), e-learning modules, and blended learning solutions. Create detailed course outlines, lesson plans, and instructional materials that align with project goals and user needs. Content Creation: Develop high-quality training content, including presentations, videos, hands-on labs, assessments, and user guides. Ensure that all training materials are clear, accurate, and aligned with the technical specifications of the mission system on GCP. Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other subject matter experts to gather technical information and understand the functionalities of the mission system. Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand training content for diverse audiences. Training Delivery: Deliver training sessions to end-users, stakeholders, and internal teams, both virtually and in-person. Facilitate hands-on labs and interactive activities to enhance learning and engagement. Assessment and Evaluation: Develop assessments and evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs and learner comprehension. Collect and analyze feedback from training participants to continuously improve course content and delivery methods. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in instructional design and technical training. Continuously evaluate and enhance training programs to ensure they meet the evolving needs of users and stakeholders. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all training materials, course outlines, and evaluation results. Prepare and present reports on training activities, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement. **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 10+ years of experience in instructional design, technical training, or a related field. Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training courses, preferably for cloud-based systems. Strong instructional design and content development skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple training projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality training materials. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and project management skills. Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certification in instructional design or technical training (e.g., CPTD, CTT+). Experience with Scaled Agile (SAFe) development methodologies. Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Experience in developing training programs for government or mission-critical systems. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $57,100.00 - $121,900.00.
