The Role

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our team reporting to the State Sales Manager. The Service Technician is responsible for installation and servicing of chemical dispensing equipment (industrial grade) across Healthcare and Hospitality customer sites in Queensland.    

In this role, you will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

Schedule and complete installation requirements/tasks according to the manufacture’s specifications and Diversey best practice.Install dosing (chemical dispensing) equipment in the correct location, in a neat and tidy manner and to the Australian electrical standards and other relative standards.Attend customer’s premises to repair equipment where there is a reported incidence of breakdown.Perform preventative maintenance of dosing equipment at customer’s premises to keep equipment fully operational.Repair non-functioning equipment which has been returned to the workshop.Ensure all electronic service reports are completed on time.Regional Travel as required to repair and install dosing equipment covered by the company under the Travel and Expense policy

About You

Ideally you will have the following attributes to be successful:

Electrical License – essentialContractors License - preferredPrevious experience in service, repairs and installation of equipment within but not limited to the Chemical Hygiene and Food Industry – preferredPrevious experience in either the catering or laundry industry – desirableExperience working on medical equipment – nice to have but not essentialHave an Electrical or Mechanical background trade base minimum with basic plumbing skills.Ability to demonstrate time management and delegate priorities accordingly.Current vaccination is required by Diversey customers.Valid and full driver’s license.Industry White CardWorking with Children CheckHave excellent customer relation and communication skills both verbal and written.Able to travel for short / periods of time mainly in Queensland and occasionally InterstateComputer literacy in Microsoft Applications.
