Job Description:
Solving the technical challenges that customers and partners encounter using Trimble Maps navigation software products both when integrated within their own wider solutions or when accessed through Trimbles hosted platforms. It’s a fast paced role, requiring flexibility in working with a number of different stakeholders while being exposed to a wide variety of technologies and environments.
Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and reporting software bugs and usability problems so they can be corrected and improved on in later releases. Being able to deliver appropriate support requires completing in-depth technical training in multiple products and datasets, together with interfacing with developers, project managers, and testers in multiple locations within the organization.
Desirable:
Working knowledge of Android, iOS and/or Linux operating systems
Full driver’s license
Working Locations:
Role is based on a “hybrid” working pattern involving a blend between remote working and time in our central Princeton office.
Expectation: MF = Remote; TWR = Princeton Office
Qualified candidates will have a combination of the following requirements:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Knowledge of internet based systems including experience developing web and mobile apps. Prior experience working with Android, Angular, and/or React is a great plus.
Superior communications and presentation skills
Flexible and versatile technical and soft skills
Comfortable adapting to changing technical environments
Willingness to learn new programming languages and/or IDEs
