Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and hands-on Engineering Delivery  Manager to lead delivery for one of the departments within the State Street Charles River Development (CRD)/ Alpha Platform Engineering organization. The role will report into the Head of Engineering Delivery within the CRD/ Alpha CTO Organization.

Responsibilities

Oversee the Book of Work from the Engineering perspective: report status, identify delivery risks, ensure roadmaps are in place, identify and address resource gapsTrack Performance vs. KPIs: measure results and ensure accountability Drive Execution: Ensure teams deliver on time, on budget, with quality Unblock Teams: Identify obstacles to keep engineering moving Optimize Processes: Streamline workflows for faster, smoother delivery Ensure Adherence to Standards: SDLC compliance, agile best practices Risk and Control: provide support for corporate audits as needed Oversee headcount and vendor contracts, support hiring and onboarding of new resources

Requirements and skills

8+ years of experience successfully implementing and leading engineering deliveryHands -on experience running cross-functional, ideally global, programs with budget over $5MMExperience of working with multiple stakeholders, influencing decision-makingThorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methodsPractical knowledge of Agile methodology. SAFe Agilist, Certified Scrum Master certifications are a plusKnowledge of MS Office, JIRA, Microsoft Project and ability to implement roadmaps in JIRAAbility to learn and absorb technical informationOutstanding leadership and organizational skillsExcellent nuanced communication skillsExcellent problem-solving abilityBSc/BA degree in, Engineering, Math, Science; MSc/MA is a plus
