Main responsibilities
Work closely with the product owner and other team members to clarify proposed changes to IT products and/or platform from a technical point of view. Responsible for bringing the technical point of view, during backlog refinement and prioritization, including for example scoping the technical changes, estimating their complexity and efforts. Accountable and responsible for the integrity and quality of the technical design of the IT product and/or platform through its lifecycle. Create fit-for-purpose and fit-for-use technical designs to implement the prioritized backlog items, Accountable for ensuring non-functional requirements are addressed in the technical design. Responsible for making sure the technical design continues to be in alignment with applicable quality and compliance standards (e.g., cybersecurity and data models and standards), and is aligned with IT Product and/or platform roadmap. Responsible for keeping the complexity of technical designs low, by for example, minimizing custom implementations and actively promoting out of the box functionality where applicable. Responsible for ensuring that technical dependencies between the IT products and/or platforms are planned and implemented in accordance with agreed architecture guidelines. Accountable & Responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving technical changes Provide required technical guidance to the team members. Play an active role in ensuring that applicable Flow IT processes are followed within the teams. (e.g., Develop & Release, Govern Architecture, Govern Quality) Support product owner of product lifecycle management. Taking a lifecycle view of the IT product and/or platform, play proactive role in identifying improvements to performance, eliminating technical debt in IT products and/or platforms Play a proactive role in technology management to avoid technical debt. Work with product owners to prioritize such improvements. Support Operations teams in addressing critical operational issues Responsible for technology management activities and supporting activities related to technical health checks, upgrades and maintenance of the technical elements of the IT products and/or platforms throughout their lifecycle. Accountable for Maintaining up-to-date technical documentation including technical design specifications in accordance with applicable architecture guidelines, taking accountability for the overall quality of the technical documentation of the IT products and/or platforms in scope. Works closely with other agile team members and actively promotes DevOps ways of working within the Product team. Plays an active role in improving & maintaining DevOps maturity capabilities and agile ways of working within the team.Requirements for the role
Self-motivated professional with strong will and desire to technically manage the Field Service Management Product (KONECT) Experienced technical professional in BMC Action Request technology to further develop a fully custom developed product. Excellent experience with SQL foundations Experience with SQL advanced (stored procedure, indexes, triggers) At least basic knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Reporting Services. Fast learning capability to understand the business and product viewpoint, make mapping to the technical needs. Familiarity and experience in design thinking techniques. Financial and business acumen with practical experience on manufacturing maintenance business and process. Strong experience with agile, DevOps ways of working and Value- driven prioritization and execution practices. Excellent communication, networking and stakeholder management skills.
