Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Technical Designer to bridge the gap between design and engineering, ensuring the seamless execution of creative concepts into functional, user-friendly solutions. As a Technical Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine designs, solve complex challenges, and deliver exceptional user experiences. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Development

Translate design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes into technical specifications that guide development teams.

Collaborate with designers to refine and iterate on designs, ensuring feasibility and functionality while maintaining creative intent.

Ensure all design solutions adhere to technical standards, usability principles, and accessibility guidelines.

Technical Implementation

Work closely with engineers to oversee the implementation of designs, troubleshooting and resolving issues during development.

Optimize designs for performance, scalability, and user interaction across platforms.

Provide technical guidance and support during the design-to-development process, ensuring designs are accurately translated into working products.

Prototyping & Testing

Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and test functionality.

Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve design solutions and technical workflows.

Analyze and debug design inconsistencies or technical issues, implementing solutions that enhance the user experience.

Collaboration & Communication

Act as a liaison between the design and engineering teams, facilitating clear communication and alignment on project goals.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, constraints, and opportunities for innovation.

Document technical workflows, design systems, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across projects.

QualificationsTechnical Expertise

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Draw.IO or similar.

Strong understanding of front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic coding skills are a plus).

Familiarity with responsive design principles, usability testing, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).

Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical design challenges.

Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation and alignment with design specifications.

Collaboration & Communication Skills

Proven experience working within cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers.

Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts and design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

Experience:

3+ years of experience in a technical design role, preferably within a digital product, app development, or UI/UX-focused environment.

A strong portfolio showcasing technical design projects, including interactive prototypes and final implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.

Experience working in an agile development environment.

Knowledge of motion design and animations for interactive experiences.

Understanding of emerging design and development technologies (e.g., AR/VR, AI integration).

Proficient -  common system integration methods and technologies including Web Services, SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, XSD, FTP

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering

Certifications/ Licenses:

AWS Associate Solution Architect - Integration, API Academy API Designer
