About the Team.
This role is part of the Engineering CE team at McCain Foods Holland B.V., where you’ll report directly to the Engineering Director. You’ll collaborate closely with Senior Technical Designers, Project Engineers, Project Managers, and other key stakeholders to design and optimize production lines.
About the Role.
In this role, you will play a key part in the successful execution of projects across McCain locations, working on both greenfield and brownfield projects. Your focus will be on ensuring that designs meet our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.
This position is based in the Netherlands, with occasional travel required.
Key responsibilities:
Use Autodesk software (AutoCAD 3D/2D, Plant3D, P&ID, Navisworks) to create and edit 3D models and production line drawings.
Review designs in collaboration with the Senior Technical Designer and/or Project Engineer, providing feedback and suggestions.
Ensure that designs meet specifications for product quality, accessibility, operation, cleaning, and health & food safety.
Monitor the installation phase of projects to ensure that all tasks are completed according to the agreed specifications.
Assist production staff during the start-up of new equipment and production lines.
Maintain close communication with suppliers, subcontractors, and installers to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets in cooperation with the Project Engineer.
Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineering experience (HBO) or equivalent (MBO).
Proficiency in AutoCAD (3D & 2D)
Experience with Navisworks Manage
Knowledge of health, safety, and food safety standards, particularly in the food industry.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to create designs within budget and scope.
Fluent in English (minimum B2 level).
