This position is crucial in bridging the gap between client vision and technical execution in footwear design. The Technical Designer will be instrumental in transforming creative concepts into detailed technical specifications, working directly with clients to ensure their design vision is accurately translated into manufacturable products. This role supports our client's mission to guide customers through every step of the footwear development process, from initial concept to final production.

The Impact you’ll makeTechnical Design Development \nCreate detailed tech packs and specification sheets for footwear designs\nDevelop 2D technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop\nTransform client concepts into technically accurate design specifications\nClient Collaboration \nCommunicate directly with clients to understand design requirements\nProvide technical guidance and feedback on design feasibility\nParticipate in client meetings via phone, email, and video calls\nDesign Documentation \nPrepare comprehensive technical documentation for manufacturing\nCreate detailed specifications for material selection and construction\nMaintain organized design files and revision histories\nQuality Assurance \nReview technical specifications for accuracy and manufacturability\nEnsure designs meet industry standards and client requirements\nCollaborate with production team to resolve technical challenges\n

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired:\nProven proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop\nExperience creating technical specifications or tech packs\nStrong technical drawing and visualization skills\nProfessional level English communication skills\nBackground in footwear design or related technical field\nPortfolio demonstrating technical design work required\nWFH Set-Up:\nComputer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.\nInternet speed of at least 40MBPS\nHeadset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam\nBack-up computer and internet connection\nQuiet, dedicated workspace at home\n\n\nYour Superpowers:\n
