Your Role

Work with a team of architects in bringing design dreams to life as a Gensler Job Captain. Produce technical documentation and communicate project progress with the lead architect and other team members to ensure our projects exceed client expectations.

What You Will DoParticipate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and productionPartner with Project Architect to produce accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of projectProvide project team coordination for incorporating design intent into the construction documentationParticipate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during constructionWork with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesUtilize hand and 3D software renderings to communicate design concepts

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program2-4 years of professional experienceKnowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniquesExperience in construction document preparation and field observationProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)Proficiency in 2D/3D software, such as Revit, Rhino, Octane, 3dViz, 3d Studio MAX
