Recommended to apply promptly to be considered.This role will report to the Senior Director of P&C Operational Effectiveness and will be part of the senior leadership within P&C Operations, alongside two other technical directors. The role will manage a team of 12, including direct supervision of three line managers who oversee Change and Project Management, Workforce Planning and Analytics, and Communications. The Technical Director will focus on driving the strategic alignment, operational integration, and execution of initiatives in change management, analytics, project management, and communications, ensuring that these functions effectively support People & Culture (P&C) priorities and World Vision’s overall strategy.
Leadership Strategic AlignmentLead the P&C Centers of Enablement to align project management, change management, and communication strategies with P&C's overall objectives. Collaborate with the senior leadership to define strategic goals and resource allocation.Collaborate with key stakeholders such as Support Offices and Regional Leaders. Prioritize relationship building, including but not limited to traveling in-person for meetingsPartner with executive leadership to ensure strategic alignment between the Centers of Enablement and broader P&C objectives, influencing key decision-makers on resource allocation.Shape the strategic vision of the Centers of Enablement by driving thought leadership, ensuring P&C initiatives are future-focused and aligned with organizational priorities.Lead organizational strategy discussions that influence long-term outcomes for P&C, positioning the Centers of Enablement as an integral partner in delivering P&C objectives.Change Management & Project ExecutionOversee the design and implementation of change management frameworks and project management methodologies. Guide teams in executing these frameworks to support P&C projects and the broader organization.Drive the execution of change management initiatives, ensuring frameworks are in place and rigorously applied to lead successful transformations.Act as a change advocate, influencing senior stakeholders to commit to and champion change initiatives across all levels of the organization.Ensure change management and project management frameworks are not just implemented but become integral to how the organization approaches and executes critical initiatives.Workforce Planning & AnalyticsDirect the creation and management of workforce analytics and reporting systems, ensuring the provision of insights into workforce demographics and performance metrics that inform strategic decisions.Guide the analytics team to deliver strategic workforce insights that influence leadership decisions around talent management and resource allocation.Lead efforts to transform data into actionable strategies, ensuring the right analytics are driving business performance and decision-making.Influence cross-functional leadership through data-driven insights, fostering collaboration to address organizational workforce needs and challenges.Internal People & Culture Communications & BrandingLead the communications team in developing internal communication strategies that ensure clarity and alignment across the partnership. Oversee compliance with branding standards and develop content for various internal platforms.Develop and oversee an internal communication strategy that aligns with P&C objectives, ensuring messaging is consistent and reaches all relevant stakeholders effectively.Position P&C communications as a strategic tool for influence, ensuring all internal messaging reflects the broader organizational priorities and brand identity.Guide the creation of high-impact communication materials that align stakeholders, drive engagement, and foster a shared vision of P&C initiatives.Team Management & DevelopmentManage and mentor direct reports, ensuring effective leadership within the Change Management, Analytics, and Communications teams. Develop the team’s capabilities to enhance project execution and strategic communication.Cultivate a high-performing, strategically aligned team through coaching, mentorship, and leadership development initiatives.Build team capacity to lead change initiatives, ensuring that all functions within the Centers of Enablement have the skills and tools necessary to drive transformational projects.Empower direct reports to lead with confidence, ensuring they influence stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making within their respective areas.Stakeholder Management & ConsultationAct as the primary liaison with P&C internal clients, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and external stakeholders. Provide consultation on communication strategies, change management, and analytics reporting.Build strong, trust-based relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to influence and align on strategic goals and priorities.Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance on communication and change management best practices that drive organizational success.Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure continuous alignment and secure their commitment to P&C initiatives, anticipating and addressing any concerns or resistance.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.Certification in Change Management or Project Management (e.g., Prosci, PMP) is desirable.Minimum 10 years of experience in a strategic leadership role within HR Operations, with a focus on change management and project management.Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and successfully delivering complex projects in a global, multi-cultural environment.Strong experience in impact analytics and communication, and stakeholder management.Strong leadership, team development, and people management skills.Expertise in change management methodologies and project management frameworks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership.High proficiency in developing and managing communication strategies for large-scale HR initiatives.Strategic thinking and ability to align operational activities with broader organizational goals.Strong business acumen with an understanding of how to leverage data and analytics to support strategic decisions.Fluency in English, both written and verbalThe position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time.Preferred Experience, Knowledge, and/or other QualificationsExperience with analytics tools and specific marketing or communications background a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Power BI, and other relevant platforms.Experience with HRIS systems like Workday is highly desirable.Current or prior experience working with World VisionApplicant Types Accepted:
