We are seeking an experienced business leader who is ready to make an impact in our Bridges team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the technical aspects of bridge design, construction, and maintenance projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation while continuing to nurture our current clients and build upon our existing network.

Job Description

What will a day in this role look like

Lead and mentor a team of bridge engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and regulatory bodies, aligning projects with organizational goals.Oversee the design, engineering, and construction of complex bridge structures, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to successfully deliver bridge projects.Drive innovation and change within the team, aiming to position the organization as a market leader.

Qualifications

About you:

20+ years of experience in bridge engineering, design, asset management, and large-scale project management.Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills, with team leadership experience.Advanced knowledge of bridge design principles, construction techniques, materials, and relevant codes and standards.Proven problem-solving abilities in complex engineering scenarios and experience leading change management.Strong client relationships across QLD, including with TMR, and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
