BAE Systems is seeking Technical Editors to support our government customer at Reston, VA and Patrick Space Force Base, FL.
The Technical Editors will be working in a classified environment and will review intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency. They will also ensure that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields. Other responsibilities will include:
+ Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents or information security-related documents.
+ Summarize numerical data to generate info to solve a wide range of intel problems
+ Ensure proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance.
+ Work with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and negotiate further revisions as needed.
+ Collect and organize information required for preparation of user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and other reports and deliverables.
+ Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Mid-level: Bachelor s degree in a related intelligence area with 8 years of experience in intelligence related field with technical editing experience within the last 2 years, or 10 years of experience
+ Senior: Master s degree in a related intelligence area with 12 years of experience in intelligence related field with technical editing experience within the last 2 years, or a Bachelor s degree with 17 years of experience
+ Prior military or government analytical experience
+ Prior experience in Information Security
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Graduate of Government OSINT Training courses (e.g., U.S. Army OBC, OS301/OS302, CASO, defense or IC equivalent (DIA BOTC, FBI OS101).
+ Experience conducting intelligence analytical support for the IC/DoD
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $75570 - $128480
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
