Job Description
**What does the job entail?**
As a **Technical Engineer** , you will be responsible for applying technical knowledge and process engineering support to sales, projects and service teams in the UK market for Grundfos Water Treatment solutions. You will maintain, and develop troubleshooting methodologies and deliver data sheets, calculations, presentations and reports. A strong understanding of customer needs is essential as you collaborate within the UK Water Treatment team to deliver exceptional technical support and service.
**This role is based in our office in High Wycombe.**
**Your day-to-day tasks will include:**
• Size equipment and predict performance.
• Develop or approve technical specifications within sales quotations and orders.
• Develop and approve PID’s and general arrangement drawings.
• Support commissioning and provide remote support where appropriate.
• Generate system control philosophy (functional design specification).
• Troubleshoot on site and manage warranty issues from a technical perspective.
• Train and support Service Engineers and Sales Mangers as well as client teams.
• Prepare and deliver CPD presentations to support sales and marketing.
• Build operating and maintenance manuals for equipment and projects.
• Ensure compliance with UK regulations e.g. Water Supply Regulations and DWI.
• Support sustainability objectives by integrating energy-efficient and environmentally responsible practices into system designs.
**Who are you?**
+ Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
+ Possess a great understanding of process systems, engineering and commissioning.
+ Experience of developing and presenting training materials.
+ Solid knowledge of the plans, processes and activities within a technical equipment and service environment.
+ Experience in driving developed processes
+ Good verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence others.
+ Proficient in English language.
