Technical Engineer
Description We are in search of a Technical Engineer to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The role involves developing CAD models for designing and manufacturing custom solutions, considering all aspects of a product’s use including visual appeal, safety, accessibility, and affordability. The Technical Engineer will be expected to collaborate with other Engineers and Designers to finalize the specifications of a project. Responsibilities: • Developing models and drawings using 3D CAD software. • Coordinating with other engineers, management, and the creative department. • Supporting the manufacturing process and contributing to value engineering exercises. • Identifying solutions to improve production efficiency. • Assessing all engineering prototypes to determine issues or risks. • Preserving and updating existing engineering models and drawings. • Using Cisco, Citrix, Cloud, and Linux Technologies to enhance the engineering process. • Utilizing iOS Apps, Active Directory, and Apple Devices for efficient task management. • Applying AB Testing, Backup Technologies, and Computer Hardware knowledge to ensure optimal system performance. • Operating CNC Programming, CNC Machines, and CNC Equipment for manufacturing processes. Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technical Engineer or in a similar role. • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is necessary. • Familiarity with Citrix Technologies is a key requirement. • Experience with Cloud Technologies is essential. • Applicant should have skills in iOS Apps development and deployment. • Knowledge of Linux Technologies is required. • Experience in AB Testing is expected. • Working knowledge of Active Directory is a must. • Capability to handle Apple Devices is essential. • Proficiency in Backup Technologies is important. • A strong understanding of Computer Hardware is necessary. • Experience in CNC Programming is desirable. • Familiarity with CNC Machines and CNC Equipment is expected.
