Description The IT Generalist is a key member of the IT team responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and ensuring the smooth and secure operation of all company technology systems. This role requires a strong understanding of various IT disciplines, including cybersecurity, network administration, software support, and systems integration. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect company data and assets. Manage and maintain company networks, including on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure. Assist in the selection, implementation, and integration of new IT solutions. Conduct user training on IT-related topics, including security and privacy best practices. Participate in IT projects, from planning and design to implementation and support. Stay current on emerging technologies and industry best practices. Maintain accurate records of IT assets and software licenses. Demonstrable Experience, Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in a broad IT role, or a combination of experience and relevant certifications. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Proficiency with Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobile operating systems. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Working Conditions: Primarily office-based with occasional remote work.
