What this job involves
Working with both the facilities manager and the assistant facilities manager, you’ll oversee the property’s day-to-day operations and ensure that all administrative functions, security issues and facility services are covered. Likewise, you’ll strive for continuous improvement in the process.
You’ll also keep an eye out on the property’s supplies and ensure that it has adequate stocks and materials to keep the operations smooth like a well-oiled machine. Likewise, you’ll manage supply and service contracts as approved by clients.
In addition, you’ll help mitigate risks by taking part in emergency evacuation procedures, and handling crisis management and business continuity plans. You’ll also be on top of health and safety issues that may arise, and actively participate in reviewing them.
Also part of your mandate is to monitor the property’s budget. As the person in charge, you’ll make sure that there’s enough petty cash to support operations. You’ll also see to it that vendor invoice processes comply with standards.
Going above and beyond expectations
Client satisfaction is second nature to the person in charge. In this role, you’ll take on difficult issues and seek out opportunities to improve operations. You’ll also be constantly in tune with the team to achieve key performance metrics and meet service level agreements.
In addition, you’ll carry out routine service audits to ensure that the team maintains its overall performance. You’ll also be in charge of creating stock reports, meeting minutes and monthly management reports to the clients.

Strong knowledge of property operations
Playing a key role, the ideal candidate holds a degree in Diploma or equivalent to Engineering and building management, and at least three to five years’ experience in facilities management. You must also demonstrate good working knowledge in occupational safety, as well as aptitude in client-centric operations.
Solid background in team management

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prioritizing the facilities’ needs
Make sure to eliminate the Break down and Un safe condition quickly within stipulated time frame within the Budgeted cost.
Proper execution of services and periodical maintenance of equipment (According to the Plan of Services).
Oversee the routine & non-routine maintenance activities, Assign the tasks to the team. provide guidance and support to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Coordinate with external vendors / contractors for repair, maintenance. services and project execution.
Perform regular inspections of equipment, and facilities to identify the abnormities and address it accordingly
Ensure good coordination with all Value streams & other departments in meeting their requirements on time.
Analysis of the training needs to subordinate team and provide training
accordingly. (Skill matrix, Training plan and records).
Implement TPM as per the TPM procedure.
Ensure Compliance, Regulatory requirements and Industrial Standards
Ensure EHS / safety requirements as per Collins Standards.
Ensure to maintain all quality documents as per Collins Standards.
Develop Contingency plans for all highly critical services / equipment.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education Background : Minimum Diploma in Electrical.
Professional Experience : 10+ years in Infrastructure & maintenance department in Manufacturing Industry.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Electrical Power station-HT/LT Distributions, Diesel generators, UPS,
HVAC -Refrigeration Systems (Air cool system, Chilled water system, Air conditioning),
Air compressors.
Dehumidifiers.
Valid Electrical supervisor License from Government of electricity board.
Knowledge in understanding the electrical drawings & Panel wiring.
Equipment problem solving skills.
IBMS / IOT / EMS Knowledge.
Fire Hydrant systems.
FAPA Systems.
System Knowledge
Knowledge on LOTO and EH&S systems
Knowledge on Project work
Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and protocols
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to conduct thorough inspections and identify potential issues.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Budget management and cost-effective resource utilization.
Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
