Evaluate and develop operational catering camp service procedures, to provide clear guidance for all contractors in performing their assignments meet standard level quality of services. Key duties included but not limited to conduct a regular weekly, monthly and annual inspection-audit to ensure standard procedure is fully implemented sitewide within the organization.

Fulfill minimum safety record requirements being: Deliver SAP (Safety Accountability Programs) as per setup monthly target. Attend the divisional SHE’s steering committee. Ensure compliance with PTFI regulations and the standard operating procedures. Review reports and daily tasks completed by contractors and give guidance on how to improve their safety, health, and environmental standard.Catering Services Standards
Review the development of menu planning and its compliance to standard practices of services stipulated under HACCP. Perform a regular inspection audit to kitchen-mess halls, feeding station and wrapping meal dropping point assessing the compliances. A weekly report is prepared and distributed to all relevant parties identifying non-conformities. Discuss with contractors, heightening their awareness of quality, hygienist, and safety. Inspect kitchen, storage, and other cook amenities. Work with PHMC, Safety IH in leading the investigation at any case of food poisoning, contamination, or other potential food outbreak events. Provide KPI matrix and align it to measurement of service performance as stipulated under the contract.Facilities Management – Camp, Global Housekeeping and Laundry
Identify and develop standards and procedures of cleaning, laundry, and housekeeping for all areas of barracks, offices, and other facilities under scope-task for contractor to deliver. Prepare forms and explanations/training based on QA/QC standard for the contractors. Provide instruction to contractor supervisors for tasks to be carried out in the field (Programming resident camp clean housekeeping ensure it perform correctly and covers all facilities.) Provide in-house training to contractor supervisors to develop their understanding and knowledge of their jobs. Make decisions in consultation with the contractor Supervisors or HR Manager regarding supervision decisions including reprimands or warnings in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement.Project Work – As arises through the needs of the Food Feeding Station expansion, Underground Food Shelters, and the Port site new kitchen-camp. These projects may arise with little notice and require swift response. On-going improvement initiatives have included:
Maintain standard quality services for various underground food shelters, various feeding stations, wrapping meals dropping point. New mill-maintenance facilities clean and housekeeping program. Sport and recreational facilities services programs. Program of Barrack Maintenance (Resident temporary relocation while renovation in progress). Centralization of laundry and its effort in improving the services while optimizing resources. Training and specialization program on the duties of hospitality services. Assist with PSU de-scoping initiatives.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business/administration or similar and ten (10) years of experience in managing/supervising the services for a catering, camp, and housekeeping premises. At least two (2) years of experience in managing a project around hospitality services. Logical thinking skills. High level of patience. Strong inter-personnel skills. High emotional intelligence. Open minded, accepting of new ideas. Perseverance. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Ability to work in a culturally diversified workforce.
