Duties:

Interpret and apply data requirements for human and animal safety assessments, with a focus on toxicity assessment.Design, coordinate, and monitor toxicity studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, GLP requirements, and safety standards.Conduct and interpret toxicity studies, preparing comprehensive reports for regulatory submissions.Conduct thorough systematic literature reviews on product safety, utilizing various databases and online resources.Work towards becoming a recognized subject matter expert both internally and in industry/scientific forums.Apply toxicological principles to contribute to the safety assessment of genetically modified crop products.

Qualifications
PhD degree in toxicology with 0-2 years of relevant academic or industry experience.In-depth knowledge and experiences in toxicity assessment.Demonstrated proficiency of designing, conducting, interpreting and reporting toxicity studies using in vivo and in vitro methodologies.Demonstrated proficiency of scouting, reviewing, categorizing, and summarizing scientific literature to address a technical question is highly desirable.Knowledge of the safety assessment paradigm for genetically modified crops is a plus.Additional knowledge and experiences in human and animal risk assessment, and bio/statistical analysis is a plus.
