In this position the candidate would:
• Apply analytical techniques to establish best practices and continuously improve Product Development.
• Prepare technical documents and presentations to ensure effective communication on quality topics.
• Lead in development of necessary generic quality documents, ensure consistency and use of best practices and lessons learned.
• Provide technical leadership and make decisions in quality issues, resolution development, robust and systemic containment actions, and prevent recurrences.
• Develop and implement tools aiding engineers in quality resolution efficiency.
• Lead development and improvement of the process and tools that support warranty cost reduction.
• Develop and apply project management disciplines.
• Train and mentor IPTSE Engineers in correct utilization and presentation of quality data.
• Creation and maintenance of OPD Trainings, requirements, and single point lessons
• Work with PD & GDIA teams to extract, summarize and analyze Connected Vehicle data to lead problem solving issues.
• Promote utilization of leading indicators to drive early issue detection and resolution. Ie. Internal indicators, ECATs, REDCRs, VOCF and connected vehicle data.
• Support data discovery for prognostics development.
• Teach OPD Engineers use of Motive and Agile Data Collection and methods (Quality.Ai, CVDOS, Agile Vehicle Requests, Google Cloud Console)
• Mentor organization in data manipulation tools and methods (Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Binning.)
• Enhance capabilities of quality team through providing technical expertise on quality methods and data analytics.
• Drive data driven decision making and issue resolution cross functionally ensuring quality IPTSE performance.
• Host Tech Club hours.
• Continuously improve PD Quality Processes by enhancing requirements and process metrics based on lessons learned.
• Lead IPTSE quality team members in understanding of issues and more standardized effective communication/ presentation.

Quality Analytics Technical Specialist - Key Responsibilities
This role will leverage data analytics and project management skills to significantly improve IPTSE quality and reduce warranty costs.
Key responsibilities include:
I. Data Analysis & Improvement:
Analyze large datasets (connected vehicle data, warranty claims, internal indicators such as ECATs and REDCRs) to identify trends, root causes of quality issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement tools and processes to enhance efficiency in quality resolution and early issue detection.
Cultivate and apply machine learning techniques to predict potential future issues based on historical data.
Support data discovery for prognostics development.
II. Communication & Collaboration:
Prepare technical documentation and presentations to communicate quality findings and recommendations effectively to various stakeholders (Core Quality, Quality Analytics, Residents, Calibration, GDIA, High and Low time in Service teams, Core/Powerpacks, PD & GDIA teams).
Lead and mentor IPTSE engineers in the use of quality data, analysis tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik Sense), and data presentation best practices.
Provide training on OPD processes, requirements, and lessons learned.
III. Process Improvement & Project Management:
Develop and implement robust, systemic containment actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
Lead the enhancement of processes and tools supporting warranty cost reduction.
Continuously improve PD Quality Processes by enhancing requirements and process metrics based on lessons learned.
Champion data-driven decision making and issue resolution across functions.
IV. Technical Expertise & Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and decision-making on quality issues.
