Technical Instructor/Course Developer

Our work depends on Technical Instructor/Course Developer joining our team to train Government clients on Mission Command Information Systems, familiarize other instructors on training plans and procedures, and conduct instructor preparation and rehearsals on their assigned Mission Command Information Systems.

HOW A TECHNICAL INSTRUCTOR/COURSE DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Instruction will be performed in classrooms within the Special Operations Mission Training Center (SOMTC) on Fort Liberty, NC. and, when required, in a distributed mannerAs part of a team, develop course material and plan of instruction (POI) for a maximum of five Joint/Army Mission Command systemsPrepare Mission Command Information Systems' course products, i.e., training schedules, outlines, handouts, exams, and practical exercisesAs part of a team, be prepared to instruct at a minimum, four classes per week. This instruction will include as a minimum, two days of training objectives and a two-day plan of instructionEnsure classroom equipment is functional, i.e., control units, monitors, microphones, desk top computers and monitors, software applications, connectivity to servers, headsets, microphones, speakers, and printers

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Associate's Degree. Two years’ instructor experience may substitute for academic degree.Required Experience: Two years of experience teaching or demonstrating job skills.Required Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Joint and Army Mission Command Information Systems, interfaces, and communications. In-depth knowledge of interoperability relationships that exist between systems to system. In-depth knowledge of the process of exchanging information between interfaces, communications, and Mission Command Information Systems.Security Clearance Level: Secret, or the ability to obtain a Secret security clearanceRequired Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.Preferred Skills: Two years of experience teaching or demonstrating job skills. The employee will use desk top computers and monitors, microphones, software applications with connectivity to servers, headsets, speakers, and printers to conduct training.Location: On Customer Site
