Summary and Scope The Platform Architect will be responsible for the design of Chubb’s Human Resources Applications Modernisation Architecture and will be the key enabler for its adoption journey across different countries and regions, supporting the technology assessments, governance, and solution designs, partnering with the engineering teams to ensure solutions being implemented are aligned to corporate, security and technology standards and strategies. Also, will work actively on the definition of the roadmaps that support the modernisation, migration and decommissioning of applications within the Human Resources landscape. Responsibilities • Participate on Human Resources technology solutions assessments and governance, collaborating with business HR Leads on selecting the right technology in alignment to functional and non-functional Chubb’s standards. • Develop and document flexible, adaptable, modular, and reusable solution architecture designs in collaboration with product delivery and operation support teams. • Develop solutions and roadmaps on applications transformation and modernisation. • Support evolution of Architecture blueprints & reference models and facilitate their enablement and adoption within the enterprise. • Implement appropriate solution architecture governance processes and tools while maintaining a key focus on design patterns and technology standards. • Maintain a repository of architecture assets (Platforms, Services, APIs) and promote effective reuse across the enterprise. • Act as an enabler of Agile and DevOps practices in collaboration with product delivery and operation support teams. • Design architecture solutions with security-first mindset as well as partner with security teams in supporting delivery teams on the understanding and implementing solutions aligned with Chubb’s security standards and policies. • Explore, evaluate, and promote technology innovation within the enterprise. • Evaluate, learn, and assist teams with enrolment of new technology solutions. • Evangelise different IT and Business teams on Architecture Processes, Strategy, Frameworks and Patterns. Qualifications Required Qualifications and Experience• Bachelor's Degree.• 8+ years in solution architecture with exposure to corporate systems.• Extensive knowledge and experience on platforms architectures, from blueprint to solution design and implementation.• Technology architecture experience, including but not limited to business, application, infrastructure, security, and data architecture.• Strong technical background with both, inhouse implementation as well as technology packages and software as a services implementation.• Experience in solutions modularisation and modernisation including adoption of Micro Service Architecture models.• Experience in Integration Architectures from Service Bus and ETLs to API Mediation and Event Bus models.• Experience in Information Security and Risk Management.• Experience working on a mix of classic and agile delivery methodologies.• Excellent documentation and presentation skills• Ability to develop and deliver high quality architecture artifacts to support communication of the architecture across all project stakeholders.• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to interact effectively with internal and external individuals as well as with technical and business stakeholders.• Proven track record in relationship-building and driving change in a matrixed work environment.
