Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role with flexibility to work partially remotely from Hyderabad, India as a Java Engineering Lead for Chubb. In this role, you will lead the development of new features and maintain existing applications while working with various cross-functional teams. You will also drive the technical direction of the team by providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members and identifying areas for improvement.

Strong analytical skills with the capability to translate business requirements into technical design and perform impact analysis on existing systems Leadership experience in guiding and mentoring teams is preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with various cross-functional teams Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field. Participate in software design, development, and implementation using Java/J2EE Technical stack. Can work with multiple teams and update right status to Stack holders and Sr management.  Take ownership of an application or modules. Provide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration, and performance testing. Mentor junior team members and ensure software development adheres to best practices and quality standards through code and design reviews. Handles multiple demands/priorities effectively. Adapts to best fit with the situation at hand. Handles conflict effectively, Takes initiative & accountability. Create High/Low level design of application, work with Architects on suggestions and approval.

Must have:- 

1. 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE and 2+ in Java 8 or above.

2. 3+ years of experience in Spring and Spring Boot.

3. Hands on experience in java and microservices development.

4. knowledge of Java and Microservices design patterns.

5. Experience in SQL/No SQL Data base like as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB.

6. Problem solving & Analytical skills.

7. Good communication skills.

Nice to have:- 

1. Experience in UI Technologies like as HTML,CSS, Java Script and Angular 7+ .

2. Experience in CI/CD Pipeline, Maven or Gradle and any cloud technologies(AWS, Azure, GCP).

3. Experience in an Agile environment and all the phase of software development with test-driven development.

4. Experience in Docker & Kubernetes.
