Responsibilities:

 

Act as a Full stack QA Engineer and perform Functional Testing, API Testing, Automated Testing and Performance Testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test automation strategies. Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites using Cypress and Selenium to validate web applications. Ability to design REST Assured API test automation framework and automate web services. Create and execute automated test scripts for regression, functional testing. Identify and report defects, track issues, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution. Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing. Write clear and concise test documentation, including test plans and test cases and test results documents. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation and performance engineering and share knowledge within the team.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 6 to 8 years of proven experience in test automation using Cypress or Selenium. Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience with modern web development technologies (HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular, etc.). Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or similar and automating them in Rest Assured or Cypress. Experience with performance testing frameworks in Jmeter or with any other performance test framework is mandatory. Strong experience in Data base queries. Knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or similar is a plus.
