The Applied R&D Engineer conducts target-oriented research to directly apply findings to the specification, design, further development, and incremental improvement of products, services, systems, tools, processes, etc. Integrates, verifies, tests, and modifies SW / HW / system components and capitalises on innovative solutions to meet particular requirements and specifications.

Skills Required

Bachelor in Computers or related field (or equivalent work experience) having 3-8 years of experience.

•              Proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab actions.

•              Knowledge of AWS would be a plus.

•              Knowledge of python, shell scripting is a must

•              DevOps design patterns and principles.

•              Very good English language skills in spoken and written.

Need to work independently to enhance CI/CD pipeline and validation related activity. 

1.       Handling regular integration activities.

2.       Enhancement of CI/CD pipeline.

3.       Simulator based validation.

5.       Expose to any automation framework (robot is preferred)

6.       Networking product knowledge is added advantage. 

• Responsibilities

1.            Scripting: Python + Linux Shell scripting for automation.

2.            Jenkins + Gitlab/Mercurial: Automating CICD with Jenkins and Gitlab/Mercurial actions.

3.            Collaboration: Work closely with developers and architects to ensure the seamless deployment of code to azure.

4.            Accessibility: Ensure that websites adhere to accessibility standards to always make them available

5.            Performance Optimization: Collaborate with developers to optimize the performance of Azure services, considering factors like page load times and server responsiveness.

6.            CICD with security: Participate in quality automation for pipelines which run along with the CICD to verify the code effectiveness and security concerns and flag them before deployment.

7.            Documentation: Create design documentation, style guides, and maintain documentation for all Devops related operations

8.       Kubernetes : Deployment of container application in kubernetes clustering environment.
