Technical Lead

We are seeking a Technical Lead to join our Applications Development team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As an Associate Architect at Marsh, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and managing IT systems, driving the development and implementation of innovative software solutions that enhance our client services and operational efficiency.

We will count on you to:

Design the structure of technology systems and manage the implementation of programs.Coordinate with the software development team to ensure the system runs smoothly.Develop and implement highly responsive user interface components using React concepts.Write application interface code using JavaScript following React.js workflows.Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in software development practices.

What you need to have:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science.8+ years of experience in full stack web development, with a strong focus on both front-end and back-end technologies.Strong experience in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.Strong experience with back-end technologies, including Node.js, Python, or Java,and RESTful API development.

Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data modeling.Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token, OKTA.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
