**Description**
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Applies sound and diversified knowledge of discipline engineering principles and practices in broad areas of project assignments
+ Provides leadership to the engineering design teams as the technical design leader and leads the design team on technical issues on small and medium projects
+ Provides input to Project Managers and technical management concerning potential process and design improvements related to engineering design and technology
+ Maintains a high level of technical expertise in one or more engineering disciplines by identifying individual training needs and scheduling appropriate training programs
+ Initiates and maintains extensive contacts with key engineers and officials in other organizations to confirm that practices applied are consistent with current standards, regulatory requirements, and current technological innovations
+ Leads training and development of other employees to provide technical guidance and training related to engineering design and code compliance issues around engineering expertise
+ Maintains, implements, and monitors a system of quality control consistent with ENTRUST’s policies and procedures
+ Performs all other tasks as required
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited university or a minimum of 7 years of direct experience.
+ Construction experience, utilities experience, construction project experience, job site experience.
+ AutoCAD experience (experience reviewing drawings, overhead and underground)
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ PG&E Experience
+ Understanding of California standards (GO95, NESE, etc)
+ Experience leading and/or reviewing projects

+ Extensive technical knowledge in their area of expertise
+ Skill to use hand-eye coordination, visual (near) acuity and depth perception.

+ Ability to read, understand and closely follow both client and ENTRUST data standards and practices.

+ Ability to concisely communicate technical concepts within the scope of their assignment.
+ Ability to interact in a professional manner with managers, peers, clients, and customers
+ Ability to read and comprehend written material of a technical nature.
+ Ability to interdependently work with others to produce products/services.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time (2-3 hours) with the ability to move at will; have vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; have hearing and speech skills to communicate in person, over the telephone or Teams; have use of hands to finger, handle, type, or feel and manipulate mouse, keyboard, and computer equipment.
**WORKING CONDITIONS**
Hybrid working conditions exist in either a home office environment and/or or job site. Must possess ability to follow general safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE. Must be able to attend meetings at various sites or conferences within and away from the Firm.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited university.
• Seven+ years of relevant work experience
• Or twelve+ years of relevant work experience with no engineering degree

**Benefits & Salary:**
+ This position pays $93,600 to $104,000 annually and is an exempt position.
+ Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
+ Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
+ May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
