The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Chief Architect to lead our program's technical strategy and oversee the development and implementation of complex systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record senior leadership roles within the defense and intelligence sectors, with expertise in systems engineering, software development, and strategic architecture. This position will have the autonomy to walk in the door and get technical work done; meeting the customer and driving the strategy and delivery for our engineering team. You'll provide depth, insight and the ability to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic technical leadership for large-scale intelligence and space-related programs, ensuring alignment with client needs and program goalsOversee the development and implementation of advanced software and systems engineering solutions for intelligence and defense applicationLead and mentor cross-functional teams of engineers, fostering innovation and driving technical excellenceDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government clients, partners, and internal leadershipDrive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance operational capabilities and maintain competitive advantageEnsure compliance with DoD and intelligence community standards, including cybersecurity and information assurance requirementsContribute to business development efforts, leveraging technical expertise to identify new opportunities and win new contractsOversee the integration of acquired technologies and capabilities into existing systems and workflowsProvide thought leadership in areas such as space intelligence, signal processing, and advanced analytics

Qualifications Required:

Active TS/SCI with polygraphBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferredMinimum of 20 years of progressive experience in software engineering, systems integration, and program management within the defense and intelligence sectors.Proven track record in senior leadership roles in a defense contracting environmentExtensive knowledge of intelligence systems, space-based technologies, and related DoD programs.Strong background in managing large, complex technical teams with multi-million dollar budgetsExperience working directly with senior with government counterparts.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$119,800 - $263,600
