Position Overview

Siemens’ power integrity group seeks someone to help change the analog EM/IR industry. Circuits must pass EMIR and power integrity analysis at signoff to ensure that they work in the field. However, the today’s tools are difficult to use and limited in capability. mPower Analog is changing that. We are seeking a highly motivated technologist with the capability and desire to drive development and deployment of this exciting new tool.  This latest addition to our excellent team will work with the team to define, support and market transistor-level power analysis and reliability signoff.

Enable customers to successfully analyze and eliminate transistor-level EM/IR issuesDefine and spec new features based on customer needs and product strategyBuild tight customer relationships  Partner with engineering to agree on specification details and test casesManage customer and internal stakeholder expectations

Job Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

BS degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field is required.  MS degree is highly preferred.Should have 5 or more years of relevant experience in the semiconductor IC design or EDA industryStrong knowledge and experience in analog design, transistor-level IR/EM analysis, transistor-level simulation, parasitic extraction, and cell characterization.Proven track record of handling fab collaterals (tech files, rule decks etc)Previous experience with product development is a requirementMust demonstrate script-programming skills with languages such as TCL, Perl, Python, shell, etc.Must be familiar with Unix/Linux operating systemsMust demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities, and strong communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously with cross-functional, distributed teamsAbility to write comprehensive marketing or product requirement specifications in English.Proven teamwork skillsWillingness to travel 25%

The salary range for this position is $151,300 to $272,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.  Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
