This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and modernization of our CI/CD build platforms from on-premises to cloud or SaaS. • Lead and design the migration of our CI/CD platforms – JFrog Artifactory and GitHub. • Collaborate with development teams to ensure a seamless migration experience. • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate software delivery and ensure high-quality releases. • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the development workflow to streamline processes and reduce time to market. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for CI/CD processes, tools, and best practices. • Ensure CI/CD processes comply with security best practices and regulatory requirements. Additional Skills & Qualifications • 8-10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in building and deploying applications. • 2+ years of experience in a technical lead or similar role, focusing on CI/CD platforms. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, .NET, or Go. • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab CI). • Strong Linux skills, including shell scripting. • Strong understanding and experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). • Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or CI/CD tools (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
