Technical Lead - Software Engineer (CI/CD Platforms)
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or Golang. You should be passionate about improving software delivery processes, enhancing developer efficiency, and ensuring smooth and rapid deployment of applications. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and modernization of our CI/CD build platforms from on-premises to cloud or SaaS. • Lead and design the migration of our CI/CD platforms – JFrog Artifactory and GitHub. • Collaborate with development teams to ensure a seamless migration experience. • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate software delivery and ensure high-quality releases. • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the development workflow to streamline processes and reduce time to market. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for CI/CD processes, tools, and best practices. • Ensure CI/CD processes comply with security best practices and regulatory requirements. Additional Skills & Qualifications • 8-10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in building and deploying applications. • 2+ years of experience in a technical lead or similar role, focusing on CI/CD platforms. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, .NET, or Go. • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab CI). • Strong Linux skills, including shell scripting. • Strong understanding and experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). • Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or CI/CD tools (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $73.90/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
