Proclinical is seeking a Technical Lead Web Applications for a company that is at the forefront of developing autonomous driving technology for private ground applications such as trucks at port terminals and passenger cars in factories. The successful candidate will join a team of top technical talent to drive the definition, architecture, development, testing, and deployment of our web platform for automated driving solutions in yard logistics and car manufacturing. Responsibilities:
Develop web applications from scratch through production, deployment and operationsCreate architecture, designs, and documentation that lead to consistent reliability, scalability, security, and performance of the system as a wholeResponsible for front-end and back-end architecture and developmentDefinition, implementation and maintenance of data models and interfacesSetup a development pipeline including continuous integration and deploymentSupport in the full product life cycleActive contribution to the software source code developmentTechnical Lead for web developmentSupport project planning in close coordination with product owner and line managerEnsure Agile software development: management of the technical backlogCoordinate development efforts with other team members & with other teamsCoordination of software development & tests during all project phasesEnsure highest quality standards during the entire product life cycle
Key Skills and Requirements:
MSc in Computer, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fieldAt least 5 years of experience designing, building & operating web applicationsUnderstanding of different architecture patterns like microservices, event-based architecture and programming on the cloudHands-on experience in frontend programming languages and frameworks.Hands-on experience in backend programming and microservices architecture patternExpertise in different database technologies.Experience with IaaS solutions.Experience with message broker technology (Kafka, MQTT), REST API, WebSocket or GraphQL developmentIntegration experience with enterprise software like SAP or other CRM, ERM.Up to date with industry best practices and technologies, new and emergingExperience with technical project management and resource management skillsSelf-organized, solution-oriented, communicative team player with initiative
