Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you! 

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Leader. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, experience with Elasticsearch, and proficiency in Angular. As a Technical Leader, you will be responsible for guiding a team of developers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and driving technical excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java (versions 11, 17, and 21). Implement and optimize search functionalities using Elasticsearch. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables. Ensure best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

6 to 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java. Strong knowledge of Java (versions 11, 17, and 21) and related frameworks. Experience with Elasticsearch for search and data retrieval. Proficiency in Angular for front-end development. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in leading and mentoring development teams is a plus.
