Technical Leader - RAN 5G L3

Role Summary

Be part of Mavenir’s RAN BU and work with the 5G NR Layer 3 team doing design, simulation, development, integration, test and delivery. Looking for 5G NR Layer 3 RRC, gNodeB development engineer to join protocol stack development.
May use common development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in a sophisticated team in building a 5G/4G RAN product.Play a significant role in architect, design, and develop a carrier grade product.Support the deployment of software in the production network.Support RAN integrations, verification, and troubleshooting.In-depth knowledge on mobile networks, especially on 3GPP LTE and NR standards in RAN and the interface between radio network and core network.

Job Requirements

10 to 15 years in 5G NR or other Wireless (4G/5G) protocol stack development10 to 15 years of solid and proven software development skills and coding practices in C/ C++ in Linux environment.Should have hands on experience in 5G NR RRC, RRM, F1AP, NGAP, X2AP and Application development.Good understanding of 3GPP specification.Solid experience of OOPS design and development using C++ with good understanding of software engineering aspects – data structures, IPCs, system services (memory management, event handing), computer architecture fundamentals (caching, memory hierarchy)Good understanding of any make system, white box testingFamiliar with debugging tools (gdb) , code management tools (CVS/GIT) and test tool (TM500 , EXIA , QXDM , QCAT, etc) . Field deployment experience will be add on.
