To receive and release file and/or transmit confidential documents Updates and monitors the status of IP and patent applications Compiles and collates records and data in connection with the preparation of reports, studies, and other documents relevant to IP work Maintains efficient filing system and conducts regular inventory and proper disposition of IP unit records Responsible for assisting the director in the management of technology licensing Serves as a liaison with inventors, patent attorneys, companies, and other stakeholders to implement the university’s technology licensing strategy Identifies potential licenses, negotiates agreements and implements policies and procedures governing intellectual property rights Responsible for ensuring that all programs and activities comply with university, state, and federal regulations Responsible for ensuring that all programs and activities comply with university, state, and federal regulations Responsible for maintaining an inclusive working environment that is free from discrimination and harassment Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time
