VMS – TECHNICAL LINE OPERATOR
Schedule: Monday & Tuesday 9:30pm-6:00am; Saturday & Sunday 5:30pm - 5:30am
Rate: $29.51/Hour

What you’ll do:
This position will be responsible for safety, quality and productivity of all equipment on a high speed manufacturing line including the bagger, filler, case packer, etc.Essential Functions:
Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area. Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.Safe and efficient packaging line operation to meet or exceed all quality, scheduling and customer requirements. Perform machine set-up and changeovers as needed.Work with Line Mechanics to perform line performance troubleshooting and maintenance as needed to include replacement of machine components as necessary.Perform PM’s, including adjustment, alignment and lubrication of machinery.Computer operation including entering production information into the manufacturing system.Set-up and operate auxiliary line equipment, including bottling machine, vision system, bottle coder, case coder and/or inkjet coder as needed.Participate in continuous improvement teams to identify and resolve areas of downtime, etc.Ensures all quality and food safety practices are followed at all times.Assist with the training and certification program as needed.Other duties as assigned.What you’ll need:
High school diploma or GED required.Prior manufacturing experience in a GMP environment required (food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, etc.) 3-5 years technical production line operation experience in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude, shop math skills and troubleshooting ability required.What we’ll offer:
