Technical Maintenance Engineer [F/M/X]

Job Description:

As an All-round Maintenance Technician Calibration and Instrumentation, you will be responsible for independently performing maintenance and service work on process installations and utilities within a pharmaceutical environment. In addition to maintenance tasks, you will also carry out modifications to our installations. This position involves a regular workweek, with a 24/7 on-call duty a few times a year.

 

Responsibilities:

Analyzing and resolving malfunctions, performing measurements, and assessing the results. Performing maintenance and modifications on mechanical, metrological, and electrical components. Supervising and inspecting the work of external companies performing maintenance tasks. Performing calibrations related to temperature, pressure, weight, flow, pH, and conductivity. Conducting NEN inspections and setting up measurement and control equipment. Preparing work tasks such as selecting suitable measurement equipment and materials, preparing necessary documentation, and selecting equipment and materials for orders. Performing administrative tasks related to the role, such as handling work permits, orders/tickets, entering calibration data into SAP, and time registration. Providing technical advice in the specific field to the project department, the maintenance and calibration department, and internal clients. Performing mechanical tasks such as assembling (control) valves, electric motors coupled to agitators, pumps, etc.

 

Requirements:

Completed MBO (secondary vocational education) in electrical engineering and instrumentation, and/or measurement and control technology, preferably with a specialization in calibration. Work experience in E&I, measurement and control technology, and/or calibration and/or electrical engineering. Experience with PLCs, measurement and control technology, and/or instrumentation and/or electrical engineering. Experience in setting up, testing, and assembling measurement and control equipment such as transmitters, frequency converters, (control) valves, electric motors coupled to agitators, pumps, etc. Preferred: work experience in process technology, petrochemicals, food, and/or pharmaceutical industry. Familiar with GMP and/or ISO 17025 regulations.
