This is a non-union positionIn this role, you will indirectly provide direction and guidance to a group of professionals responsible for successfully conducting Health Checks on projects for the Gas Distribution & Storage (GDS), Gas Transmission and Midstream (GTM), Liquids Pipelines (LP) and Power business units.
You will work closely Project Development, Project Execution, and business unit stakeholders to identify and support issue resolution in project management, engineering, construction, risk, and project controls areas to achieve project success.

What You Will Do:
The Projects Organization recognizes the growing value of performing project Health Checks and this position is accountable for developing and executing effective fit for purpose project Health Checks to ensure project success.
The Heath Check process involves:
Developing a project specific Health Check plan based on the project’s current status, complexity, perceived risks, customer requirements, and project goals.
Leading the Health Check process with a multidiscipline team through simultaneous Health Checks for both Major and Core projects.
Conducting interviews with project teams members and project stakeholders to see opportunities, non-compliant issues, non-conformance issues, and/or risks that jeopardize project success.
Evaluating the identified findings to develop corrective and/or preventative action items (CAPAs) to ensure project success.
Developing and delivering a presentation of key findings and CAPAs project leadership and other leaders across the organization up to and including the Executive Leadership team.
Who You Are
University degree, diploma or related construction or operational training and experience. Will consider a combination of education and experience. Noting candidates without a degree require 3 more years of related experience.
Minimum 8 years of experience leading and planning activities for multidiscipline teams in the pipeline industry. This includes a strong working knowledge of pipeline and facilities engineering, construction, and project controls principles in North America.
Effective communicator who seeks to build and manage relationships and has conflict resolution skills.
Foresees obstacles and risks and determines mitigation strategies and innovative solutions.
Experience with safety, quality, and environmental management processes and systems.
Familiar with industry codes, regulations, standards and specifications in US and Canada.
Working Conditions

Up to 15% travel may be required.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Salary: Ranges from $133,800 - $174,000 per year based on experience
