Travel to Grifols offices within CA as needed. **Job Duties:** Create project plans for SAP 6.0 and SAP R/3 ECC6 application implementation, configuration, enhancements and support of Production Planning and Plant Maintenance modules for consumer products. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage of SAP 6.0 and SAP R/3 ECC6 Plant Maintenance (PM), Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) module enhancements and configurations. Manage project scope, time, cost, quality, staffing, communications, risks, and issues through project initiation, planning, execution, and closure to meet planned objectives. Create, review, update, and approve required documentation for changes and projects as appropriate in accordance with IT Methodology. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investment (ROI). Review and approve scripts for User Acceptance Test (UAT) and System Integration Test (IT). Ensure the implementation of code changes required for SAP factory applications and products, including modules for plant maintenance, production planning and quality management. Summarize project scope and status by developing executive level dashboards within Excel and SAP Analytics. Provide technical direction for development, design, and systems integration within SAP for Plant Maintenance, Production Planning and Quality Management. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Lead SAP HANA and SAP support team through all phases of implementation projects including, Patching, Go Live and Post Go Live support. Oversee adoption management of new systems, functions, and technologies, including the development and delivery of end user training as needed. Provide escalation path for project issues, and guides team to resolution through technical expertise, business knowledge, and negotiation skills. Contribute to the development and management of the IT project portfolio. Work closely with business clients and project teams to investigate, design, and propose solutions to ensure continuous innovation in how services are delivered. Ensure the installation, maintenance, correct functioning, and evolution of the tools within the development framework ensuring the achievement of the corresponding plans. Participate in the definition, development, and maintenance of IT strategic and operational plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality issues/standards, solutions development, and external services management to ensure that client requirements can be met. Manage and monitor a queue of issues and changes for team to ensure timely resolution; ensures stakeholders are updated regularly on progress. Mentor and coach members of the IT team in completion of routine assignments, project work, and skills development.
