Technical Manager, Swine (Visayas/Mindanao)

**The Position**
The Technical Manager is responsible in the collection, analysis and the provision of relevant swine scientific information for the OPU and other stakeholders. This role builds and maintains a broad network of relationships with international and local key opinion leaders in the OPU and provides technical services to Key customers and farms as well as support and train Technical Sales Specialists (TSS) in the area of responsibility.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Supports the implementation of the swine strategy in close collaboration with the Business Segment Head and ROPU Technical Manager
+ Provides technical support to key customers and farms in coordination with the respective TSS, ASM and KAM in the area.
+ Works with the technical team in managing and solving escalated technical issues.
+ Supports product launch process in collaboration with different stakeholders.
+ Provides in-depth technical training and consultation regarding product(s)/disease area(s) to colleagues and key customers as assigned by BU head.
+ Conduct trials in coordination with TSS, ASM and KAM.
+ Lead IHM projects and is responsible for the growth of soundtalks and other IHM products in the area.
**Requirements**
+ Licensed veterinarian with relevant livestock farm and industry experience
+ Broad knowledge on livestock health & production
+ Capable of managing a substantial amount of scientific information
+ Strong business mindset
+ High integrity and ethical standards
+ Flexibility, open to change, adapts to the changing situations
+ Strong analytical ability
+ Good listening skills, strong communicator
+ Self-supporting, takes initiative, autonomous
+ Fluency in both written and spoken English
