Job Description

This is a part time, permanent position working a 20 hour week, Monday - Friday 10:00 - 14:00.

Use your extensive knowledge to demonstrate our technical capabilities to selected Key Accounts with the aim of giving high level of customer care for those customer essential to the business.Be a point of added value for key customers to provide technical back up to the sales team.Provide input in the various forms required by customers, including, but not limited to, Horizon Scanning, Consultancy and Training.Liaise with the Operations Manager, TSM and Sales team to provide technical training.Be a source of technical expertise within the team to provide best practice approaches for communication, reports etc.Keep up to date with current techniques, topics and legislation that order to advise Eurofins and its customers on accurate implementation of their requirements.To operate in line with, and continually reinforce, Eurofins Quality systems with specific reference to, reporting, contract review, procedure development and review, and exceptions.Supervise the internal testing offer to provide best in class testing service and ensure working within the quality manual in order to retain ISO accreditation.Build efficient working practices and procedures that lend themselves to KPI performance management.Assist in cost benefit analysis of new testing potentials and constantly look for opportunities for growth on internal testing to protect revenue and profit.

QualificationsDegree in related scientific subject or 5 years relevant work experience.Practical knowledge of commercial laboratory operationsProven experience in the practical application of testing methodology and ability to train others.Knowledge and understanding of product testing.Knowledge and understanding of account management techniques.Knowledge and understanding of the relevant Product Testing Regulations and DirectivesEffective communication skills both written and oral.High level of attention to detail.To be able to communicate highly technical material to different levels within the business and to gain the confidence of the client.To be a self-starter and manage own workload in a timely and effective manner.
