The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of software development practices. As the **Technical Manager** , you will oversee the technical aspects of projects, guide the team to ensure high-quality software delivery, and collaborate closely with other departments to meet business goals. You will be responsible for managing technical teams, architecting solutions, and ensuring the technical vision aligns with the company’s objectives. **Responsibilities** **Responsibilities** **Team Leadership & Management:** + Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, ensuring high performance and professional growth. + Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to team members to improve their skills and productivity. + Foster a collaborative and innovative environment where team members can share ideas and work together effectively. + Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with developers to discuss performance, career development, and project-related challenges. **Technical Strategy & Architecture** : + Collaborate with senior leadership to define the technical direction and strategy for projects. + Design and oversee the architecture of software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. + Provide technical expertise during the planning, development, and deployment phases of projects. + Review technical solutions and ensure they meet business requirements and technical standards. **Project Management:** + Work closely with account servicings, designers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and timelines. + Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget while maintaining the quality of the deliverables. + Oversee resource allocation, tracking progress, and adjusting timelines or resources as necessary. + Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies to handle technical challenges. **Quality Assurance & Best Practices :** + Ensure coding best practices and industry standards are followed throughout the development lifecycle. + Implement and enforce code review processes, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. + Monitor and improve the team’s development process, identifying areas for improvement. **Stakeholder Communication:** + Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and technical decisions with stakeholders and upper management. + Translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders. + Ensure transparency and clarity on technical progress and roadblocks. **Continuous Improvement:** + Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices. + Lead the team in adopting new tools, methodologies, and technologies that can improve productivity and software quality. **Qualifications** **Required Skills & Qualifications:** + **Leadership & Management Experience:** Proven experience (4 years) in leading and managing a technical team, including mentoring and performance management. + **Strong Technical Background:** Extensive hands-on experience in software development (e.g., PHP, Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) and modern development frameworks (e.g., Laravel, React, Node.js, etc.). + **Architectural Expertise:** Experience in designing and architecting scalable, high-performance software systems. + **Project Management** : Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello). + **Communication Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. + **Problem Solving:** Ability to analyze complex technical problems and find innovative solutions. + **Quality Focus:** A strong focus on high-quality code, best practices, and testing. + **Time Management:** Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). + Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). + Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). + Experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems. + Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field. + Certifications in relevant technologies or project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master). **Additional information** + Generous leave entitlements, including birthday leave, rest day and family care leave. + Office closure for World Mental Health Day 10th October. + Additional Company closure for all 4 major festive Celebrations + Cashless comprehensive medical coverage, including access to a panel clinic, dental and optical care. + Life and personal accident insurance and group hospitalization and surgery. + A hybrid working schedule and with Friday disconnects. + Rest Relax & Recharge - office closure last week of December every year. + Phone Allowance
