Bureau Veritas Philippines is looking for a Technical Manager to overseas the Technical Services Development, Operation Management and Service Delivery of the business unit to maintain a high standard of service delivery to clients as well as other stakeholders. 

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  Accountable for updating and maintaining the inventory of service methods and procedures, ensuring all BU services are covered under group I&F technical procedures Accountable for planning for BU technical and production resources (personnel, equipment, certifications/accreditations) to ensure that pipeline projects and services are adequately accommodated in a timely manner. Monitor and manage the quality of inspection and other BU services to ensure conformance under the requirements of International Standards and Codes and Client Monitor and ensure targets and KPI’s of the production/inspection team are met Monitor and ensure the delivery of timely and quality inspection reports and other deliverables to clients Identify and develop services for new or updated standards, codes & regulations in order to enable the company to deliver strong technical solutions to the client Supervise and support inspector’s technical delivery to client by providing coaching and training to inspectors and support teams where necessary Form good working relationships with clients Promote the organization and its services to potential new clients and actively provide assistance to acquire new business contacts and opportunities Attend client meetings to deliver effective technical and commercial solutions to clients Assist in assessing staffing requirements, and conduct technical interviews to potential new inspectors Provide technical assistance for proposals, bids and presentations

 

 

Qualification:

  Professional or Registered Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent) Over 10 years experience as lead engineer or inspector for oil & gas, power & utilities or heavy manufacturing sector Experience in QA/QC inspections for mechanical or structural projects Over 5 years technical management experience Familiar with mechanical systems such as rotary equipment and/or pressure vessels Has training on non-destructive examination Has training on Quality Management Systems Qualified/Authorized/Certified to one or more technical standards, such as but not limited to: Authorized API (510/653) Inspector or equivalent CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent ASME/ASTM, CE Marking, BS, etc. ASNT/PCN NDE Level II or III
