Job Title: Technical Marketing Engineer - Cisco Compute for AI

 

What You’ll Do:

 

You will be part of the Cisco Networking – Compute Solution Engineering team focusing on the design, development, and documentation of Cisco on-premises and hybrid cloud solutions to support customer use-cases and business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

Implementing and integrating with technologies such as: Cisco AI Ready Infrastructure Cisco Splunk Cisco Intersight Cisco Nexus Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) Technology partner offerings Designing and developing solutions that require a well-rounded understanding of: AI optimized infrastructures and operations On-premises data center infrastructure (compute, network, and storage) Virtualization Hybrid cloud Enabling technology adoption and capturing future product and solution requirements while driving customer success. Facilitating our customer’s AI journeys Developing and delivering technical content and collateral, such as: Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs) Demo videos Whitepapers Industry event presentations

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Cisco Networking - Compute team, working to support customer use-cases and business objectives.

 

Who You’ll Work With

 

You will work closely with peer technical marketing engineers, product managers, and engineering teams responsible for designing and delivering Cisco on-premises and hybrid cloud solutions with Cisco’s Unified Computing System and Intersight services. In addition, you will work closely with the Cisco field, our channel partners, and technical partners to drive customer adoption.

You understand key aspects, technology trends, and requirements specifically centered around the lifecycle of on-premises AI infrastructures and AI Operations.

 

Minimum requirements for this role:

 

5 years of experience as a technical marketing engineer or comparable technical role with relevant experienceExperience and knowledge of on-premises infrastructure architectures and configurations (Cisco UCS, Cisco Nexus, etc.)Experience with AI enabled infrastructures and AIOpsExperience with Cisco Splunk EnterpriseExperience with Cisco Splunk Cloud a plusDemonstrated experience in developing and delivering highly technical documentation and presentationsProficiency in scripting languages such as Ansible, Python, or JavaScript a plusFamiliarity with system administration tasks, including managing servers, networks, and databasesStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
