Technical Mechanic
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the operation of plant technical infrastructure, including buildings and utilities, and supplying the plant with steam (boiler room), water (intake and treatment), compressed air, vacuum, de-dusting systems (filters), HVAC, and fire protection systems (sprinklers and pumps)
As a Technical Mechanic, you will:
Operate and maintain equipment including boiler room, heat exchangers, steam boilers, water treatment, pumps, compressors, HVAC, filter station, and dust loading system. Shift work may be required. Making material and spare parts requisitions. Monitoring and keeping a record of the following: gas, technologic steam, water, sewage amount. Maintain a safe and healthy workplace by understanding hazards, following JTI safety rules, and applying control measures. Always demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents or risks to your supervisor, and support ongoing safety improvements. Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.
