This opportunity will remain online based on business needs which may be before or after the specified date._ GFiber is currently extending its reach into new markets, and the Technical Operations ISP Manager role is essential in bolstering this expansion. ISP managers at GFiber oversee new commissioning of our new CO-sites and Hut Builds. Because our fiber systems utilize cloud-based deployment environments, our ISP Managers should possess comprehensive knowledge of CISO, Juniper Devices, and Protocols. **Role Description (and additional job description)** The Technical Operations ISP Manager is responsible for Inside Plant (ISP) deployment and ongoing facility / equipment maintenance throughout the Market. As a Technical Operations Manager, you will ensure that Central Office (CO) network operations are reliable, secure, and efficient; monitor network performance, manage planned/proactive/reactive ISP maintenance and repair, and respond to network connectivity issues originating from the CO/HUT. This role will report directly to the R&M Operations Lead for the Market. **In this role, you'll:** + **Manage all CO/HUT/PoP site lifecycle:** Plan, provision, commission, and maintain sites within the market area. + **Lead vendor program for facility acceptance:** Direct vendors in testing and accepting new CO/HUT elements (structure, security, critical systems, etc.). + **Develop and execute CO/HUT maintenance:** Create schedules, collaborate on repairs/upgrades with NOC/PMTs, and manage critical spares. + **Drive operational excellence through data and quality:** Analyze vendor/ticket data for insights, implement improvements, and foster a quality-focused culture. + **Manage financial aspects and reporting:** Partner with Finance on CAPEX/OPEX budgets and provide project updates to leadership through documentation and presentations. **At a minimum we'd like you to have:** + Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications or a similar field, or equivalent hands-on Inside Plant (ISP) experience with Central Office (CO) / HUTs and testing equipment. + 5 years experience in the telecommunications or cable industry (one of the following areas: network operations, network construction and deployment, network architecture, network maintenance). + 5 years of experience in a vendor management role with customer-facing responsibilities. + 2 years of experience managing vendors, contracts, budgets on large-scale and complex projects; and working knowledge of FTTH architecture and technical services best practices. **It's preferred if you have:** + 8 years experience in the telecommunications or cable industry (one of the following areas: network operations, network construction and deployment, network architecture, network maintenance). + Experience managing large scale projects and initiatives from start to finish with proven success. + Proven success working collaboratively on cross-functional, and highly collaborative teams. + Flexibility to adapt as role evolves and changes - which could be monthly, quarterly, or annually. + Certifications , CCNA, CCNP, AWS, CISSP, CCNP, TIA-A+, GCP The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $130,000 - $143,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits.
